The relaxing bar and restaurant provide an excellent venue for all types of social occasion, from informal bar lunches to intimate, candlelit dinners in the restaurant with its romantic atmosphere and outstanding view over the Galloway Hills.  Wherever you eat your meal, you will enjoy the friendly service for which our hotel and staff have become famous.  The restaurant, with its extensive menu, has a strong reputation for good quality food, using locally-sourced produce, and offering many delicious specialities.

Lunch 12noon - 2pm
Dinner 6pm - 9pm

Daily changing Chef’s Specials ensure the menu remains fresh and inviting for both the traditionalists and the more adventurous. 

Private Functions and Corporate Events
The Bruce Hotel offers facilities for small, medium or large groups for sit down meals, large buffets, small finger buffets and simple refreshments such as soup and sandwiches. A small, 12-seat, private Dining Room is available for intimate private or corporate dinner parties or meetings.
