BY TRAIN, the nearest stations are:
Barrhill (17 miles), Stranraer ( 25miles), Dumfries (50 miles). Buses connect to Newton Stewart.
BY CAR, Newton Stewart is just off the A75 Euroroute, between Stranraer and Dumfries. Take the turning off the (only) roundabout at Newton Stewart, towards the town. The Bruce Hotel is 800 metres along, on the right. Off-road car parking at the rear, through the archway.
